Library On Wheels- Book Exhibition by NBT

Book fair: A mobile library A mobile library, also known as a bookmobile or library-on-wheels, is a service that provides access to books and other library materials to communities or individuals who may not have easy access to a traditional brick-and-mortar library. Mobile libraries are designed to bring library services and resources to people in rural or underserved areas, and places like Palwal where there is no good book store as well as to those with limited mobility. Mobile libraries play a crucial role in promoting literacy, supporting lifelong learning, and fostering a love of reading in communities that may otherwise have limited access to books and educational resources. They are particularly important in rural and remote areas, as well as in some urban communities where library access is limited. All the students of different classes were made to visit the mobile library with their teachers and were told to select books for purchase in the library. A story telling session was organized by the NBT , students were very excited to be part of the session. Books were well kept and the mobile bus was managed very well by the staff. Entire day was celebrated like a festival well organized. The fair was inaugurated my Honourable Principal, kv Palwal along with librarian and other distinguished staff members. Library Palwal purchased books recommended by teachers and students in the library.
